Ruby didn't much care about what was going on around her. She might have been a demon but that didn't mean she worried herself too much with the going ons around her. She had her own agenda.

That agenda was one Cole, former hunter now bad ass pet. Toy. Whatever you wanted to call him. No, of course not, Ruby was not in love with him. She was in love with the notion of having him. Whenever she wanted him or needed him. He was there. It was just convenience. Ruby didn't do love.

So, why was she in front of the mirror staring at herself and saying the word over and over as she got used to it on the tip of her tongue. She'd sent Cole out for food, much needed food. She had a craving for fries and ketchup which Cole knew one thing. He better get it before he had a rather cranky demoness on his hands.

Ruby? Irritates me more then anything. Honestly, they wrote her so bad on the show, that I kind of took pity on her and felt the need to give her more then what she had. They barely let us know who she was other then the fact that she was some demon who sold her soul and was a witch. WOW incredible back story there. Seriously..

She annoys me with how demanding she can get when really she has no right. Then when I finally do want to get something out there for her she clams up and tells me to go to hell. I am really starting to hate her sometimes. Which is somewhat sad. I like my take on her since it's different from anyone else's that I've seen writing her and in some odd way I take pride in that.

I am nothing like Ruby, except the witch part. I'm Wiccan, she was a witch. Only thing we have in common. Now I have her glaring at me. She's impossible. I swear to god, impossible.

And yes, this was a ramble.

There was a fine line between love and hate, at least that's what everyone told each sometimes in a heated argument. Ruby was no exception. She spat those words out sometimes when yelling at Cole for no apparent reason other then the fact she could.

And Cole would take it with a grain of salt.

It wasn't the fact that he wanted to, but he loved her enough to be willing to take it when she would dish it out to him, even if it wound up with a punch to the face for him doing something supposedly idiotic in the demon's eyes.

Ruby, didn't believe in Utopia, it was a mindless dream that someone had come up with in order to try and deal with life and the possibilities that everything would be alright someday. That there was a better world somewhere, a perfect world. Who were they kidding? Cole somehow wanted a wife later on down the road and Ruby didn't think she could exactly give him that. She still couldn't quite get used to the term of girlfriend, seeing as it was just foreign to her. She'd gotten to the point she could tolerate being called that, but it didn't stop her from hissing sometimes at the mention when he would introduce her as that to someone else.

Let's face it shall we? Ruby and Cole? They'd never have that little happy ending. That much was already written in the big book of destiny.

This Ruby, has no knowledge of the Winchesters. In any community. I am writing her free reign where she doesn't even know who they are to spare myself and those who play Dean and Sam. I don't enjoy forcing a character on someone and have no intentions of doing so.

With that said, her prompts will be focusing around Ruby prior to becoming a demon as well as role play/banter interaction with the boy who's, melted, this little demon's heart slightly whose name is Cole [info]youdneverseeme

223. I swear I didn't put those.....

"I swear I didn't put them in there mama." The blond girl frowned and looked up at her mother with those big eyes that she gave her mother sometimes.

"I somehow don't believe you child."

Ruby just smiled and then started to help her mother with the dinner. She hadn't meant for the frogs to get out and jump across the counters in the kitchen. She hadn't meant any harm by doing it. Really, she hadn't. She was innocent as the next child could be.

"Go set the table child."

"Yes Mama."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"I swear I didn't put those words into anyone's mouth, you said it yourself." Ruby glared almost tauntingly at Dean Winchester who was standing across the room. "Going to try and shoot me again? I didn't go to Lillith. You came to that conclusion yourself."

Dean growled, his hand tightening around the gun at his side, it wasn't the Colt, but he could make her hurt, just a little bit.

"That's what I thought. You can't say anything to me that has any prevalence. Run along Dean, I'm not in the mood to argue with you."

H. Mother, may I?

Mother raised her daughter right, gave a firm hand in punishment and walked her daughter through the everyday chores of becoming a woman in the society of which they were raised. She was a good girl. Went to school and then came home to help her mother cook dinner.

When Ruby was sixteen however, she realized she wanted more, something other than what her family had planned out for her. That was when she met the woman that promised her all her dreams, wants and desires could come true. That woman, the devil woman whom everyone in the town veered clear of, seduced Ruby into the small coven that she created. Perhaps Ruby was in love, or perhaps she was actually in love with the power that the woman could give her. Did give her.

When it was time to collect? The woman hesitated just slightly before taking Ruby's life. She remembered the look on the other womans face, it almost seemed like she didn't want to. That was the price to pay for giving yourself to the art the woman gave.

She never asked her mother 'May I do this mom? Is it bad to want something more than what I'm supposed to be?' Maybe if she had, life would be much different for the girl that sold her soul and then she wouldn't be here in this world now, working for something no one knew about.

Ruby always had ulterior motives. Always.
